Lagos State governor, Akinkunmi Ambode who was invited at the second quarterly Town Hall Meeting at Shibi/Ekunpa Area of Oto Owori
He informed the public of the projects his administration were committed to aid the lives of Lagosians. He promised that the construction of the three ultra modern hospitals to help improve healthcare delivery in Lagos. He told the public that his administration was already liaising with the construction company for the upcoming project.
He applauded the Town Hall Meeting platform for the opportunity to get feedback from the people, he was open to questions. When some people complained of the terrible state of roads and asked what the administration was doing to salvage the situation; He responded saying that The Public Works Corporation will fix and enable better road network. He enumerated some of the achievements of his administration
“I like the idea of bringing to the fore the issue of uncompleted projects. If we are able to do a link bridge in 11 months, if we are able to do Ajah flyover in 13 months and Abule Egba flyover in 13 months and we are going to commission all of them next month, how can these roads be there forever? So, obviously we should use the same spirit of delivering service to do all the outstanding roads. The Ministry of Works must go back to these sites, I must know what is going on within the next few days,” the Governor said.
