Acting Chairman of The Economic And Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu has presented
evidences to justify the mission of the raid at Osbourne Towers. A source confirms that Magu presented evidences were validated by the committee members.
He was questioned on the procedures taken for
the successful completion of the assignment and the technical strategies the commission employed.
Nyesom Wike, present governor of Rivers State allegedly claimed ownership of the looted money saying it belonged to Rivers State Government. He added that it was siphoned under the leadership of former governor Rotimi Amaechi who declined the allegation made against him by the incumbent administration in a statement released by his spokesper. Rotimi further clears his government from the link and urged the federal government to investigate Wike’s involvement in the case
