Bande’s appointment was announced by the President on March 31st, he once served as the Director General Of the National Institute For Policy And Strategic Studies up until February 25, 2017.
He now serves as the Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nation, it was reported by NAN (NEWS AGENCY OF NIGERIA) that he assumed office on Monday and he entertained with a little reception by the union in New York. He was introduced to the number of staff by the Deputy Permanent Representative To The UN, Samson Itegboje
Mr Bande had this to say
Nigeria is a very important country. All our missions and agencies should work together,” He made this statrement while addressing the staff and colleagues admonishing his cabinet will work together, committed and strong.
